Blog Entry #4 by Justin Speich
Motivation is defined as, "the processes that account for an individual's intensity, direction, and persistence of effort toward attaining a goal," (Robbins/Judge 175). Motivation has played a key positive role in our group's project so far. For example, when deciding what our project would be about we decided that the project should be involved around a topic we all feel strngly about, and those strong feelings are what is the driving motivation behind us reaching our ultimate goal of accomplishment in this project. Without motivation this project doesn't get done, plain and simple. I think that our goals to try and make the UWM campus a more recycle friendly environment are being reached because of our motivation. Motivation has helped this group immensely to stay on task and keep our project moving in a positive direction.
