Blog Entry #2 by Justin Speich

Throughout the course of this project my dominant personality traits have come full circle in helping to achieve a dynamic multimedia project with my group members. My conscientious personality has played a very large role in how I've been able to give my full effort into this project. As being a person with a conscientious personality I am equipped with such traits as responsible, dependable, persistent, and achievement oriented, all of which I feel have played a positive role on our project and have also projected positive attitudes out of my group members. I feel that my responsibility and my strive to achieve are the two traits that have played the greatest role so far because by being responsible I have proved to my group members that I will not falter on this project and that I have everyones back when it comes to meeting deadlines for our project. My achievement personality trait has also been very positive for us as a group because we all are sharing a common goal while doing this project with the overall initiative to achieve it, my strive to achieve I feel is something that my group members can see in me and that they feed off of that energy, which creates a very positive element within the group itself.

Also, through my Jungian 16-type personality test I have found that I am outgoing, a visionary, and a natural leader. These traits have helped me on a positive level with this project because I feel that these traits are what keeps me motivated on this project. Even though I was qualified as someone as a natural leader I think that everyone at one point or another has taken or will take a leadership role because one person can't lead every aspect of a project when there are certain areas that outside their area of expertise. Since everyone is going to have a leadership role in this project it is going to create a more positive atmosphere for our project because giving someone leadership shows them that you trust them and hold them in a high regard, which brings out the best in people.
