Communication skills are crucial in how this project will meet its ultimate goal. Communication is very key in our success and if our team isn't communicating we will not be able to meet our deadlines or finish the project. As a group we all have expressed great communication with eachother and not just about our projects but with everyday life. Also with an assignment due every week we all need to be on top of our game and communicate with eachother so we don't forget to send it in. With all this communication we have established we are starting to gel as one unit and also becoming closer friends. We just need to stay on top of our communication with eachother and wrap this project up.

Blog Entry #5: By Justin Speich
Communication is vital to a group's success in terms of accomplishing goals and meeting deadlines, if there is a lack of communication among group members then the project will fail. The communication skills of my group members and I have played, not only a positive role, but also an important role in our group project thus far. Our group has been meeting our goals and has accomplished a great deal because of how well we communicate with each other and with others. With so many deadlines for our milestones and for our action plan its has been imperative that our group maintain good oral communication among each other because without that communication everyone in the group would be lost on what would need to be accomplished in order for our project to keep progressing. Our group has also held a steady stream of written communication through e-mail in order to arrange meeting times to complete tasks for our project. That written communication has become a very positive reinforcement in the sense that e-mailing each other has kept us up to date, as a group, with what each member has been doing outside of our discussion classes.

One of the key aspects of succeeding in almost any aspect of life is having a strong sense of moitivation. Of course, there are many other necessary components which lead to sucess, but without motivation very little can actually be accomplished. An individual could have all the talent in the world, but without motivation they can't expect much sucess. Take the 2004 United States men's olympic basketball team for instance. The team clearly was above the rest of the world talent-wise, but their motivation was lacking and they didn't win as a result. But for one to truly understand the atrocity that was the 2004 men's olympic basketball team one must first get a grasp of the word motivation. According to Organizational Behavior, 13th Ed., motivation is the processes that account for an individual's intensity, direction, and persistence of effort toward attaining a goal. The 2004 team clearly demonstrated through a lack of intensity and effort that they were not truly motivated to win the gold that fateful summer in Athens.
All members of our group have shown they are motivated to not only do the multimedia project, but do it well. I think it is evident that everyone in Go Green or Go Home has not just the overall intelligence to create a successful project, but also the motivation. I believe there are three main factors that contribute to this motivation. First, no one wants to let down the other members of GGoGH, and they put forth a strong effort as a result. Additionally, all members firmly want to maintain a strong GPA and will show intensity and direction to get a solid grade on this project. Lastly, I believe that no one in the group wants to put their name on a project they're not proud of and will do what it takes to make a quality multimedia presentation.

To me motivation would be described as someone's passion for achieving or doing something worthwhile. It is also the person's persistence in that such topic. Our groups motivation has played a positive role in our project because as a whole and individually we have taken it upon ourselves to finish the steps that we set up when we first met about our project. We all have motiviated eachother to out do/work our group members so that this project can be the best possible. If you group didn't have any motivation to be here or get a good grade on this then it would not get done and we would not be helping the UWM campus by "Going Green." Our group has prospered greatly with eachothers cooperation and motivation by staying on topic.
